Resizing painted images
Resizing an image by dragging
To resize a painting image by dragging:

Select the image to be resized. |

Choose Resize from the Transform menu. |
3 |
Drag one of the square handles to change the overall size of the image. |

To remove the handles, click outside the image. |
Tip: To keep the original proportions while resizing, hold down the Shift key.
Resizing an image by a specific percentage
To resize a painting image by a specific percentage:

Select the image to be resized. |

Choose Scale By Percent from the Transform menu. |
3 |
Type an enlargement or reduction percentage for the horizontal and vertical dimensions. |

Tip: To maintain the image's current proportions, type the same value for both horizontal and vertical. |
If you can't select something:
If the item is in a painting frame, make sure you enter the frame to edit it. If you see the Arrange menu and not the Transform menu, you are in a drawing document and must use a different method for selecting items. (Because there are significant differences between painting and drawing features, it is important to choose whether to paint or draw before you begin creating something.)
