Creating and deleting slides

Each page in a presentation document is a slide. One blank slide automatically appears when you open a new presentation document.

    To add a slide:
1 Click the slide tab in the Controls window.
2 Click the plus (+) button.

If you don't see the Controls window:
Choose Show Presentation Controls from the Window menu.

    To name a slide:
Click the word "Untitled" in the slide thumbnail image and type a new name.

The slide name appears only in the Controls window. Slide naming is important for keeping track of slides when you rearrange them.

    To edit a slide:
1 Click the slide tab in the Controls window.
2 Select the thumbnail image of the slide you want to edit.
3 Add content to the slide as you would to a page in a drawing document.
For example, you can use the drawing tools and add table, text, spreadsheet, or painting frames. You can insert images or clippings, change colors and other attributes, and add movies and sound. You can also put links in the slides.

    To delete a slide:
1 Click the slide tab in the Controls window.
2 Select the thumbnail image of the slide you want to delete.
3 Click the minus (-) button.

Tip: You can delete several slides at once by arranging them into one group and deleting the group folder.
