Adding and deleting document or Internet links
AppleWorks has two kinds of links:

Document links go to a document, or to an anchor within the same document or another AppleWorks document. |

Internet (URL) links go to a specific Web page. |
Defining a document link or Internet link
To define a document link:

In the document, select the item to which you want to attach a link (the item you want to be clickable). |

You can attach a link to selected text, objects, painted images, spreadsheet cells, or frames. You can select part of an item, such as an area of a painted image or a letter within a word. |

Choose Show Links Window from the Format menu. |

To create a document link, click the Document tab. |
|
To create an Internet link, click the Internet tab. |
|

Click New. |

Type a name for the link. |

Specify a target for the link. |

To link to an anchor, choose it from the Anchor pop-up menu. |
|
To link to another document, click Choose, select the document you want, then click Open. If you want to link to an anchor within the document, choose it from the Anchor pop-up menu. |

To link to a Web page, type the Internet address (URL) of the page. |

Tip: You can organize document links and Internet links in the Links window by putting them in folders.
Changing a link
To change a link's name or target:

In the Document or Internet panel of the Links window, select the link you want to change, then click Edit. |
Deleting a link
To delete a link:

In the Document or Internet panel of the Links window, select the link you want to remove, then click Remove. |

The target isn't affected when you delete a link. |
