Using different languages
To type and edit documents on your computer using different languages, you need to install the software for the languages you want to use. You may also need to make adjustments to your keyboard or number settings, or find out how to type special characters. The Language Kits CD Extras folder (in the CD Extras folder on your system software CD) has different versions of SimpleText for each language, as well as extra fonts and keyboard layouts. Displaying file and folder names in other languages If you have files or folders on your computer whose names are in another language, those names may not be displayed properly in the Finder or in applications. If you have the appropriate language kit installed on your computer, you can make the Finder properly display filenames.
