Getting help for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean input methods

    Mac OS 9.0 comes with software that lets you enter Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text using a conventional computer keyboard. You can also view Input Method help for these languages.

How to access Chinese and Japanese Help

    To access Help for Chinese or Japanese input methods:
    1 Open the Finder's Help menu and choose Help Center.
    2 Click Chinese (Simplified or Traditional) or Japanese Help.
    3 Use the left and right arrow buttons in the upper-left corner of your window to navigate between the Help pages. To return to the table of contents, click the Home button.

How to access Korean Help

    To access Help for the Korean input method:
    1 Open the Keyboard menu (to the left of the Application menu) and choose Korean.
    2 Open the Pencil menu (to the left of the Keyboard menu) and choose Power Input Method Help. To view the menu in English, choose "Show in English."
    Tip: You can also open Korean (Power) Input Method Help by double-clicking its icon (in the Utilities folder on your hard disk).
    3 Use the left and right arrow buttons in the bottom of each page to navigate between the Help pages. Double-click the upward arrow to move back to the table of contents (home).
