Viewing Web pages in different languages

You can view Web pages in different languages using the fonts available on your computer or system software CD.

Central European languages

To display Web pages in Central European languages, use the fonts Courier CE and Times CE. These fonts are located on your system software CD; to use them, you need to install them first.

To install Courier CE and Times CE:
1 Open the Language Kits CD Extras folder, in the CD Extras folder on your system software CD.
    2 Double-click the "Central European.img" icon.
3 Drag the Courier CE and Times CE fonts to the Fonts folder in your System Folder.

Cyrillic and Chinese Web pages

To display Web pages in Cyrillic or Simplified Chinese:
Set your Web browser preferences as follows:
For Cyrillic, use PriamojProp and Latinskij.
For Simplified Chinese, use Song and Beijing.

If a Chinese, Japanese, or Korean Web page contains unreadable text:
Try reloading the page. Pages that use these languages may contain unreadable text when first opened in your Web browser.
