Using the Button Bar, contextual menus, and keyboard shortcuts
Using the Button Bar The Button Bar contains buttons that provide quicker alternative access to many commands and features. It appears at the top of your screen by default. The buttons that appear depend on the type of document that is currently active. (When no documents are open, the Button Bar shows buttons to create documents of each type.) To display the Button Bar: To hide the Button Bar: You can customize the Button Bar (for example, by adding and deleting buttons, or including pop-up menus that let you change the look of selected text and graphics). Using contextual menus You can quickly access many commands by holding down the Control key while clicking in a window.
