Lecture 12 - Looking Forward to Biochemistry II?
In looking ahead at the next course in the biochemistry series (Bicohemistry II, Chem 454), you will be focussing on the biochemical reactions that are used to degrade food-based molecules to extract their their chemical energy and store it in a usable form and on using this stored energy to synthesize new molecules, which are needed by the cell. In Lecture 12, we will review some of the topics and concepts that we covered this semester in Biochemistry I to see how they connect to what you will be focussing on in Biochemistry II.
