Viewing multiple pages

When viewing multiple pages, you can
create frames or objects spanning two or more pages
    check page breaks
view the overall layout of multiple-page drawing documents

Reducing your view to see more pages

You can reduce your view of a document so that you can see several pages at once. This technique is especially useful in spreadsheet, drawing, and painting documents, where pages can extend to the right of and below the current page.

To view multiple pages of a document:
1 Choose Page View from the Window menu (if it's not already checked).
Note: Word-processing and presentation documents always display in Page View.
2 Click the zoom-out control, in the lower-left corner of the document window, until your view is reduced enough to see several pages.

Displaying facing pages in word-processing documents

AppleWorks can display consecutive word-processing pages side-by-side, so that you can see two-page spreads (useful for double-sided documents).

To display facing pages in a word-processing document:
1 Choose Document from the Format menu.
2 Select Facing Pages Side-by-Side in the Page Display area.
Note: You can also make both inside margins and both outside margins the same by selecting Mirror Facing Pages in the Margins area.

When you display facing pages, AppleWorks places odd pages (including the first page) on the right to match the way books are bound.
