Setting up FTP server access

You can save your Network preferences and FTP & WebDAV Server site settings so you only have to set up access to the FTP server for your site once.

When you set up FTP server access, you create a list of available servers that contains the names of the servers (such as ftp.company.com), the names of the directories that will hold your sites, and your FTP user name and password. If you're setting up server access for more than one server or directory, you use nicknames to identify the server settings for each one. (See Setting up Internet access.)
