Working with graphics and mediaImages, sound, movies, and animation help visualize information on your Web pages and make them more interesting to read. You can add compressed, Web formatted images (such as GIF, JPEG, or PNG images) to your Web page and use the Image Inspector to set alternative text, image links, and other image attributes. You can use images as navigational buttons or mouse rollovers with links to other pages or URLs, and create image maps by dividing an image into clickable sections or "hot spots." (SeeCreating mouse rollovers and see Creating image maps.) GoLive also includes a QuickTime movie editor to make adding movie files to your page easier. (See Editing QuickTime Movies.) Best of all, you can use smart objects to add images and animations to your page--and let GoLive optimize them for the Web while keeping a link to the source files in their original format.
