Editing and previewing movies in the movie viewer window
The Layout tab toolbar in the movie viewer window provides several buttons for editing tracks in movies. You can change the position, size, and shape of a track by dragging it in the Layout tab. Although it's essential to have the capability to enter numerical coordinates (which you can do in the Inspectors), it's much easier to move and position tracks by dragging them in the Layout tab. You can also use the Align palette and the Transform palette to reposition and align the tracks. The Movie menu and View menu for the Layout tab also provide commands for manipulating movies and showing or hiding the grid and ruler in the Layout tab.
Note: If the movie window is hidden or minimized, you can show it by clicking in the Timeline Editor and choosing Movie > Show Movie.
