My hypothesis is that Kornberg really did deserve the Nobel Prize this year in Chemistry. The work he has put into solving the molecular interations of RNA polymerase II in Eukaryotes is beyond spectacular. We have only tipped the iceberg of things to come as a result of Kornberg's work. The future looks bright!
