1 |
Open the Multiple Users control panel. |
|
|
2 |
Select the name of a Panels or Limited user and click Open. |
3 |
Click Show Setup Details, then click the Applications tab. |
4 |
In the User Applications list, click the checkbox next to each application the user can use. (The Owner must open each application at least once before a Panels or Limited user can open it.) |
|
Tip: To allow access to most applications and restrict only a few, click Select All, then click to deselect the restricted ones. After you select the applications, use the Show pop-up menu to view only the items to which the user has access. |
|
IMPORTANT: To restrict or enable access to "sub-applications" (applications that are part of a set), select the sub-application and not just the main application. For example, to give access to Microsoft Word, make sure you select MS Word in the list, not just Microsoft Office. |
5 |
To allow the user access to a file (such as a document template or a control panel), click Add Other and select the file. |
6 |
Click the Privileges tab and select the options you want. |
|
