Controlling access to your Web folder
When you use Personal Web Sharing to share files or publish Web pages, you control who has access to the files and what they can do with them. By default, all users have "read-only" access; that is, they can see the files, but can't delete, replace, or make changes to them. Assigning access privileges to items in the Web folder To assign access privileges to items in your Web folder: IMPORTANT: When you use file sharing to control access to your Web server, you must leave file sharing turned on while your Web server is running. If you turn off file sharing, no one but you will have access to your files. (Access is restored when you turn on file sharing.) Related topic
