Using the World Wide Web to transfer files

If you have access to the Internet and the Web, you may be able to post information or documents from your computer on a Web site. You can then access the site from another computer and download the files onto that computer.

To transfer files over the Web:
1 Transfer the files to a Web site.
2 Make sure the computer to which you want to transfer the files is set up for Internet access. If it's not, use the Internet Setup Assistant to set up the second computer.
3 On the second computer, connect to the Web site where the files are stored.
    4 Download the files.

Tip: You can also move files from one computer to another over an intranet or the Internet using Personal Web Sharing.
