Duplicating a paragraph's formatting

You can copy any formatting you've set up for one paragraph (any option you can specify in the Paragraph dialog box as well as tab settings) to other paragraphs in your document.

To apply a paragraph's formatting to another paragraph:
1 Click with the I-beam pointer in the paragraph whose settings you want to copy.
2 Choose Rulers from the Format menu, then choose Copy Ruler from the submenu.
3 Select paragraphs to change, or position the insertion point at the beginning of a new paragraph.
4 Choose Rulers from the Format menu, then choose Apply Ruler from the submenu.

Tip: You can copy paragraph formatting to another AppleWorks document by switching to the other document before choosing Apply Ruler.
