Automatically filling spreadsheet cells with data
You can speed up data entry and reduce typing mistakes by automatically filling cells with data. Filling cells with data from other cells You can fill cells with the contents of the row above or the column to the left of the cells. To fill cells below or to the right: Note: When you fill using cells that contain formulas, AppleWorks updates relative cell references to fit the new location. Filling cells with numbers, times, or dates You can fill a range of cells with a series of numbers, times, or dates with an increment you specify. To fill cells below or to the right: Filling cells with a repeating pattern of data If a series of cells in the same row or column represents a pattern you want to repeat, you can fill cells below or to the right with the same pattern of data (for example, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter).
