Selecting database records
In Browse or List mode, you can select a single record or a group of records. You must select a record before you can move, duplicate, delete, or hide it.
Selecting records in Browse mode
To select a single record:

Click in the record anywhere other than in a field. |
To select a group of records:

Make sure that Show Multiple is selected in the Layout menu. |

Tip: If the Show Multiple option is dimmed, turn off Page View in the Window menu. |

Select the records you want: |

To select adjacent records, drag through them. |
| |
To select nonadjacent records, press the Command key while clicking each record. |

Selecting records in List mode
To select a single record:

Click the row heading to the left of the record. |
To select a group of records:

Deselecting records
To deselect the entire selection:

Click any other record. |
To deselect one record in a group of selected records:
