Inserting an image into the Layout Editor
When you add a Web-safe image to the Layout Editor, GoLive creates a simple reference from the HTML page to the image. You should have your Web-safe image in the site window before adding it to your Web page. Adding the image to your site project ensures that you have a good overview of images used in your project.
To insert an image:
- Do one of the following:
- Drag a Web-safe image into the Layout Editor. If you choose this method, you can skip Step 2.
- Drag the Image icon from the Basic set
in the Objects palette into your document window, or double-click the icon in the palette. - Select the image placeholder, and in the Image Inspector, specify a file for the image. Then click Open.
