Optimizing images for wireless devices

GoLive 6 can optimize images for use on wireless devices like Nokia's i-mode phone. You add images to a layout using Smart Objects. In the Save For Web dialog box, you can choose between two predefined settings: GIF i-mode 1-bit and GIF i-mode 256. Since images for wireless devices need to be very small, it's important to use the Image Size palette to scale down the image before you save it.
