Displaying palettes

GoLive palettes are listed in the Window menu. A check mark next to the palette's name indicates that the palette is showing at the front of its group.

Most palettes have a menu in the upper right corner from which you can choose options. For example, the Color palette menu contains options that correspond to the color set buttons across the top of the palette. (See Using the Color palette.)

You can save the arrangements of palettes on your screen as custom workspaces. (See Saving custom workspaces.) You can also collapse a palette into a tab on the side of the screen. (See Collapsing palettes into side tabs.)

To show a palette and any palettes in its group:

Choose the palette's name from the Window menu. (To hide the palette and its group, choose the name again from the Window menu.)

To bring a palette to the front of its group:

    Do one of the following:

    • Click the palette's name in the group.
    • Choose the palette's name from the Window menu.

To hide all palettes:

Choose Window > Workspace > Hide Palettes.

To return palettes to their default sizes and positions:

Choose Window > Workspace > Default Workspace.

To use a palette menu:

Click the triangle in the upper right corner of the palette, and click a menu option to select or deselect it. To view the menu when the palette is collapsed into a side tab, Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the tab. (See Collapsing palettes into side tabs.)
