Binding variables in a dynamic image to content source fields

Once the image placeholder is created, you can connect variables in the image to content source fields or other sources of values.

To bind a dynamic image variable to a content source:

1. Select the image placeholder.
2. In the Dynamic Image Server area of the Dynamic Bindings palette, select Adobe AlterCast.
3. Click the Variable Bindings button.
4. The Variables dialog box lists the variables in the image. To bind a variable to a content source field, select the variable. Note that it appears in the entry area at the bottom of the dialog box. Select the content source name and field using the triangle pop-up menus or type them. Select a filter, if you want to apply one to the value; if not, leave the filter field blank. Then click on Update. You can also add or delete variable entries using the Add and Delete buttons.
5. Click OK, when you are finished.

Don't forget to click Update after entering values. They are not applied to the image until you click Update.
