About the Timeline Editor

The Timeline Editor uses timeline bars to represent the tracks in a movie, including each track's duration and the start and end times of tracks relative to other tracks. Here is where you do the majority of your work in creating and controlling movies. You add tracks to a movie by dragging icons from the QuickTime set in Objects palette to the Timeline Editor. The Timeline Editor also lets you set options in track Inspectors that affect the appearance and behaviors of the tracks in a movie.
