Moving records

To move records within a database:

1	If you're not already in Browse or List mode, choose Browse or List from the Layout menu.
2	Select one or more records.
3	Drag the selected records up or down to a new position in the database.

Tip: Moving records is most useful when you want to rearrange just a few records. To arrange all records in alphabetical or numerical order, it's much faster to sort the records.

Copying records

To copy a record within a database:

1	If you're not already in Browse or List mode, choose Browse or List from the Layout menu.
2	Select a record.
3	Choose Duplicate Record from the Edit menu.
	The new record appears at the end of the database.
