You can add descriptive text to a chart, for example, to provide background information for a data point. You can also add graphics to charts.

To add descriptive text to a chart:

•	Use the text frame tool to create a text frame, then type the text. Text frame tool
	To format the text, use the text formatting commands in the Format menu.

To add a graphic:

•	Use one of the following methods:
	• Use the painting frame tool to create a paint frame. Painting frame tool   • Use the drawing tools to draw objects directly on the chart. • Insert a picture created in another application.

Tip: To make sure the elements you add stay with the chart, Shift-click to select both the chart and the elements, then choose Group from the Arrange menu.
