Remote Access passwords
You may need to provide two different passwords to access files on remote servers: Changing passwords You can change your remote access password on a remote server if you are connected to the server by means of the ARAP protocol. (You can't change your password if you use a PPP connection; the server administrator must change the password.) To change your remote access password: Note: If AppleShare is installed on the same server as your Remote Access server, changing your Remote Access password also changes your AppleShare password. To change your password for an AppleShare server: To change your password as the owner of your computer, use the File Sharing control panel. Tip: To avoid typing a password every time you access a network server, create a keychain that contains your passwords for frequently accessed volumes. Related topic
