Telling others how to view your Web pages
For others to view your Web pages (or shared files, if you're not specifying a home page), they need to know your computer's IP address or domain name. To find your IP address or domain name: Once they know your server's address, other users can enter it into their Web browser to view your Web pages and other shared files. If you offer a list view of your files (either you're not using a home page or you've set up a Personal NetFinder link), other users can copy a file from your computer to their own by dragging the file's name to their desktop. Note: To copy a file, a user must drag the file's name, not its icon; otherwise, only the icon is copied. Related topic
