Problems accessing files on a network

If you can't connect to a shared disk:
Make sure your network connection is working by opening the Chooser and checking for the shared disks and printers you usually use.
    Open the Chooser for me.
Make sure the networking software is installed.
Make sure AppleTalk is turned on in the Chooser.
Make sure your AppleTalk settings and TCP/IP settings are correct. (If necessary, consult your network administrator for help.)
Verify that the name and password you're using to connect are correct and that you are typing them correctly.
Verify the name and location of the shared disk you want to use. Make sure the computer it is connected to is turned on and that it has file sharing turned on.
You may not have access privileges to connect to the shared disk. Ask the network administrator or the owner of the shared disk to give you access.

If you can't see zones in the Chooser or Network Browser:
Make sure the network is operating properly. Check with a network administrator for help.

If you can't see any files on the shared disk:
Make sure the files on the disk are being shared. Check with the owner of the shared disk for more information.
Make sure you have access privileges to view the files you want to see. The owner of the shared disk controls access privileges.
