Exporting and importing styles

    To export a document's styles:
1 If the Styles window is not open, choose Show Styles from the Format menu.
    2 Click Export.
3 Select the styles you want to export.
4 Select a folder and enter a name for the file you are exporting.
    5 Click Save.

    To import styles:
1 If the Styles window is not open, choose Show Styles from the Format menu.
2 Click Import and select the AppleWorks styles file whose styles you want to import.
You must have exported styles into a styles file first.
3 Select the styles you want.
4 If you know that you want all the styles in the imported document to replace all the styles of the same name in your document, select Replace All Styles With Same Name.
If you don't select this option, you will be prompted to rename or replace each duplicate style.

Tip: To maintain a consistent look among a large number of documents, keep a master document that contains all the styles you need. When you need to change a style, change it in the master document, export the master document's styles, and import them into the other documents.
