Deleting items from the Clippings window
Deleting a clipping
To delete individual clippings from the Clippings window:

Select the clipping and press Command -Delete. |
Tip: You can also press the Control key while you click the clipping, then choose Delete Clipping from the contextual menu.
Deleting or hiding a Clippings panel
To delete or hide a collection of clippings:

If the Clippings window is not open, choose Show Clippings from the File menu. |

Press the Control key while you click the Clippings tab that you want to delete or hide, then choose Delete Tab from the contextual menu. |

If you want to remove the folder corresponding to the tab, click Move to Trash. The folder will be deleted the next time you choose Empty Trash from the Special menu in the Finder. |

If you want to remove the tab without deleting the corresponding folder, click Disable Tab. You can restore the tab later by clicking the plus (+) tab, choosing Disabled Items from the pop-up menu, and selecting the tab from the list. |
Note: You cannot delete or hide the Search or Clipboard tabs.
