Viewing more or fewer levels of an outline
When you create an outline, you see all topics and subtopics. If you want to focus on major topics, you can collapse a topic to hide its subtopics. When you want to see the subtopics again, expand the topic. When a topic is collapsed, its label changes. Text labels such as Roman numerals appear underlined (the underlines don't print), and diamonds change from black to gray. To collapse or expand topics: Tip: To specify how many topic levels of a collapsed outline or topic you want to view, choose Expand To from the Outline menu. Related topic
