Adding content to a floating box

Floating boxes can contain any valid HTML element, such as text and images. However, Web browsers may have problems with floating boxes that contain tables or layout grids. If you embed a floating box within another floating box, the embedded box will inherit any CSS information from the parent floating box.

To add content to a floating box:

Click in the floating box and type or drag an image or other site asset from the site window or Objects palette into the floating box.

If desired, add a background color or image to the floating box using the Floating Box Inspector. (See Adding color or backgrounds to page elements.)

Tip iconYou can set the contents of a floating box to be invisible when the page is first loaded into the browser. (See Hiding and showing floating boxes.)
