Setting preferencesNumerous program settings are stored in the GoLive preference file, located inside the Adobe GoLive folder in the Application Data > Adobe folder (Windows) and the Preferences folder in the System folder (Mac OS). You can change most of the program settings using the Preferences dialog box, giving you control over the way GoLive looks and behaves. For example, you can set display options, options for importing images, options for activating modules, options for selecting default Web browsers that you start from GoLive, and spelling checker options. Some application preferences that you set in the Preferences dialog box also appear in the Site Settings dialog box (such as URL Handling options) and can be overridden by settings you make for a specific site. See Specifying preferences and settings for Web sites.) If you are working on a workgroup server, settings you make in the Preferences dialog box are ignored for workgroup sites.
