Using the Adobe Web Workgroup Server

You can work collaboratively on your site with your Web development team. GoLive makes it easy to set up a server and a workgroup site project file. Your entire Web team can have access to your site and its files. Using the site window, they can check out files to work on them, meanwhile preventing others from making changes to those files, and check the files back in when they're done. GoLive automatically verifies and updates any link references that have changed in the site.

The Adobe Web Workgroup Server lets you develop and manage your sites from a centralized location--each time you or another member of your team makes changes to a site file, the workgroup server saves a separate version of the file. You can compare differences in the source code between file versions and revert the current version of the file to any other version. In fact, you don't have to work with a Web development team to take advantage of the file version control features--even if you're a single user and the only one creating the Web site, you can set up your own workgroup server.
