Collecting and organizing library objects
You collect library objects in the Library tab in the site window to use on pages in a specific site or in the Library set in the Objects palette to use on pages in any site. When you save a library object in the site window, GoLive adds a corresponding source file to the site's data folder and displays it in the Extras tab in the site window and the Site Extras set in the Objects palette. Library objects are not limited to HTML--for example, you can drag snippet files (SSI files) from the site into the Library tab. Collect library objects in the site window if you plan to work with the site on a workgroup server or on more than one computer--for example, on both a Windows and a Mac OS computer. That way, the library objects will be included in the site project file, which moves between computers.
To create a library object for a specific site: - Select the text, object(s), or source code in GoLive or another application. You can also select a library object from another site.

in the Objects palette, choose Library from the pop-up menu and drag the selection from the document window into the palette.

To create a library object for use in any site: Do one of the following: - Drag the library object from the Library tab in the site window into the Library set in the Objects palette.
