- Today you should continue working on your Web Termpaper project. The Web Termpaper assignment was given to you on October 31. At this point you should have made substantial progress with
- Creating a bibliography and downloading the pdf versions the articles you will need, or requesting those articles you cannot download from Interlibrary Loan.
- Collecting the pdb files for the various structures of RNA Polymerase, both prokayrotic and eukaryotic.
- Today you should spend some time working out the structure of you web site with GoLive
- Figure out how many pages you will need, for example, you might include the following pages in your site:
- Homepage
- Introduction
- Overview of the transcription process with illustrations
- Comparison of prokaryotic and eukaryoitic sytems, illustrated in 3-D with Jmol.
- Description of the effect of the amanitin on the transcriptional process with 3-D illlustrations.
- Expected contributions to stem cell research from Kornberg's work.
- Other expected contributions of Kornberg's work to biology.
- Conclusions
- References with hot links.
- Be sure to provide navigational links from one location in your site to another
