Viewing the administrator access log

The Network Assistant software maintains a log that shows each time an administrator accessed your computer, observed or controlled your computer, deleted items from it, copied items to it, or copied items from it. The log includes any attempts to access your computer using an invalid password. The log retains the most recent 1000 entries.

To view the log, you must export it. After exporting the log, you can open it using a word-processing application.

    To export the log:
1 Open the Help menu and choose About Network Assistant.
2 In the dialog box that appears, click Export Log.
3 In the dialog box that appears, type a name for the file to be exported.
4 Select whether you want to export all entries or only those entries that have been added since the last time you exported the log.
    5 Click Export.
