Working with sets of Internet preferences

You can save sets of Internet settings and easily switch between them. You may find this helpful if, for example, you use more than one Internet service provider or if you sometimes dial in through an ISP and sometimes use a direct network connection.

To create and modify sets of Internet preferences, use the Internet control panel.

Open the Internet control panel for me.

To switch between sets of Internet preferences:
Open the Active Set pop-up menu and choose the settings you want.

To create a new group of Internet settings:
Open the File menu and choose New Set.

To copy a group of Internet settings:
Open the File menu and choose Duplicate Set.

To rename a group of Internet settings:
Open the File menu and choose Rename Set.

To delete a group of Internet settings:
Open the File menu and choose Delete Set.

Tip: You can use the Location Manager to associate Internet preferences with a group of system settings, then switch all the settings at once.
