Setting Internet preferences
Your Web browser, email application, news reader, and other Internet applications each have associated settings and preferences, like browser link colors, email signature, or default news server. You can adjust these preferences from within the individual applications or adjust them all from one place: the Internet control panel.
Note: Your Internet applications and the Internet control panel store your settings in the same settings file. This file always contains the latest settings, whether you make changes in the Internet control panel or in individual Internet applications. Tip: For more information about the options in the Internet control panel, open the Help menu and choose Show Balloons. Then, point at the item you're interested in. If you change preferences often: Advanced settings You can display advanced settings in the Internet control panel by switching to Advanced user mode.
