Special printing options for spreadsheets

Printing specific cells

By default, AppleWorks prints all cells that contain data or formatting information in the spreadsheet. Alternatively, you can specify a range of cells to print.

    To print specific cells:
1 Select the cells you want to print.
2 Choose Set Print Range from the Options menu.
The Print Range dialog box displays the range of cells you selected. You can enter a different range.

Note: If you specify a print range and also have Page View turned on (in the Window menu), AppleWorks displays only the cells in the print range.

To print all cells that contain data:
1 Choose Set Print Range from the Options menu.
2 Select Print All Cells With Data.

Setting other printing options

To control whether AppleWorks prints column or row headings, or cell grids:
1 Choose Print from the File menu.
2 Select the special printing options you want. (If necessary, choose AppleWorks from the pop-up menu.)

Note: Changes you make to the Print Column Headings, Print Row Headings, and Print Cell Grid options in the Print dialog box do not affect the settings for the similar display options in the Display dialog box. The reverse is not true, however.
