Chem 101: General Chemistry
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
Sections B0B - Spring 2001

Course Outline and Schedule

Chem101 provides an introduction to the principles of chemistry, the periodic properties of elements, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, molecular structure, stoichiometry and organic chemistry. It is assumed that students taking this course have satisfactorily completed courses in high school chemistry and algebra. Chem 101 credits qualify for General Education II credits but not as credits for any Chemistry major or minor. It is a prerequisite to Chem 104, which is a continuation of General chemistry and does provide credit toward all Chemistry majors and minors.
