Using storage devices to transfer files

You can transfer files from one computer to another using removable disks or mass storage devices like Zip drives, SuperDisk drives, or floppy disk drives.

To use removable media to transfer files:
1 Insert a disk into the drive on the computer where the files are located.
2 Copy the files from the computer's hard disk to the removable disk.
    3 Eject the removable disk.
4 Insert the disk into the drive on the computer you want to transfer files to.
5 Copy the files from the storage disk onto the computer's hard disk.

You can also use an external hard disk to transfer files by attaching it to the computer where the files are, copying the files to the external disk, moving the disk to the destination computer, and copying the files from the external disk to the internal hard disk.
