Selecting and deselecting tables, table cells, and cell borders
Selecting a table To select a table: When a table is selected, table selection handles appear around the edges (inline tables have only one selection handle, in the lower-right corner):
Note: When you select a table, you are selecting the table frame. Because you are selecting a frame, the drawing environment menus appear and the Table menu is not available. To apply a Table menu command to all table cells, select multiple table cells instead of selecting the table. Selecting a single table cell To select one cell: Selecting multiple table cells To select multiple table cells: Tip: To select all cells between the current selection and a nonadjacent cell (including the current selection), hold down the Shift key and click the nonadjacent cell.
