Transposing rows and columns switches the data from rows into columns and the data from columns into rows.
To transpose rows and columns: 1 Select the rows and columns you want to transpose. You can select a single row, a single column, a range of cells, or the entire spreadsheet. 2 Choose Cut or Copy from the Edit menu. 3 Select the cell that will be the upper-left cell in the range for the data you're transposing. 4 Choose Paste Special from the Edit menu. 5 Click Transpose Rows and Columns. If you select Paste Values and Formulas, AppleWorks updates formulas containing relative cell references.
