Resizing spreadsheet rows or columns

    To specify an exact size for row height or column width:
    1 Select the rows or columns you want to change.
    2 Choose Row Height or Column Width from the Format menu.
    Tip: To automatically resize a row or column to fit the longest item in it, choose Autosize Columns or Autosize Rows from the Format menu.
    3 Specify a value for row height or column width.
    You can include one of the following units of measure: inches (in), millimeters (mm), centimeters (cm), points (pt), or picas (pc).

    To resize a row or column visually:
    1 Position the pointer on the bottom edge of the row heading or the right edge of the column heading.
    If you select multiple rows or columns, they will be sized to the same height or width.
    2 When the pointer changes to a double arrow, drag until the row or column is the size you want.

    To revert to the default value for row height or column width:
    1 Select the rows or columns you want to change.
    2 Choose Row Height or Column Width from the Format menu.
    3 Click "Use default."
