Aligning data in spreadsheet cells
Alignment determines where data appears in a cell relative to the left and right borders of the cell.
To align data:

Select the cells you want to align. |

Choose Alignment from the Format menu, then choose General, Left, Center, or Right from the submenu. |

General (the default alignment) aligns text to the left and numbers to the right. |

Tip: You can also turn on cell word wrap by choosing Wrap from the submenu. |
