Zooming in and out

You can enlarge (zoom in) or reduce (zoom out) your view of a document using the zoom controls in the lower-left corner of the document window.

Zooming in preset increments

The zoom controls work in preset increments.

To zoom in one increment at a time:
Click the zoom-in control until you reach the desired enlargement.

To zoom out one increment at a time:
Click the zoom-out control until you reach the desired reduction.

To zoom to a specific percentage:
Click the zoom percentage box and choose a percentage from the pop-up menu.

Setting a custom zoom percentage

To set a custom zoom percentage:
1 Click the zoom percentage box and choose Other from the pop-up menu.
    2 Type a number.

After you set a custom percentage, the zoom-in control doubles the custom percentage and the zoom-out control halves it. For example, if you set the percentage to 60%, the zoom-in control magnifies your view to 120% and the zoom-out control reduces your view to 30%.
