Summary
Transferases are a group of enzymes that transfer groups from one molecule to another. The three main transferases discusses in this webpage include an Adenylate kinase, Glutatione S-Transferase, and Aspartate aminotransferase. These are discussed individually, but the similarities as to the main function must be recognized.

Each enzyme catalyzes a different reaction and is located somewhere different in the cell. Additionally, each has a unique secondary structure and folding topology.

Below is a phylogram of the relationship between the three enzymes.
