Using the Image Size palette

The Image Size palette in the Save For Web dialog box lets you specify a new size for the target file during the optimization process for Smart Objects.

Width and Height

You can enter values for the new width and height of the target file.

Constrain Proportions

You can select Constrain Proportions, and then specify the new size by entering a Percent value. Or, you can enter a value for either the width or the height, and the accompanying dimension will adjust its size accordingly.

Quality

The Quality option lets you choose a Smooth (Bicubic) or Jagged (Nearest Neighbor) resampling method for when the image is resized.

Applying the new size settings

Clicking the Apply button applies the values you entered in the Image Size palette.
